Timothy D. Oldfield, 52, 259 Whetstone River Road North, Caledonia, died at 10:50 a.m. Monday, June 11, 2007, at Marion General Hospital.
Born July 2, 1954, in Marion, he was the son of the late Ralph W. Oldfield and Norma J. Seckel Oldfield. His mother survives in Caledonia.
On March 6, 1992, in Marion, he married Deborah L. Frazier Oldfield; she also survives in Caledonia.
He was employed as sexton for Rivercliff Cemetery in Mount Gilead for seven years, an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and collecting arrowheads as a hobby.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is also survived by three stepsons, Frank James (Amanda) Stokley Jr., Marion, Robert Daniel (Rochelle) Stokley, Marion, and Michael Dale Gattshall, also Marion; a sister, Linda (Donald) Simmons of Crossville, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Kayla, Joshua, Brandon, Liam and Alyssa; a niece, Nikki Ralston, a nephew, Mike J. Clever; a great-niece, Jordan Clever and a great-nephew, Kaden Ralston. He was preceded in death by a niece, Lindsay Clever.
