Born in Makro, Pommerania she married Johann Fredrich Ernst Vögt, I in 1829 near Stolp, (Slupsk) Pommerania. They had at least two sons, Theodore and Albert and a daughter Albertine (Eller), who recorded the family story in "Memories of the Past" written in 1933.
The family immigrated to Limestone Township of Kankakee Co. IL where they purchased land and farmed for generations.
