SPANISH AMERICAN WAR VETERAN

Frederick Craw was born April 30, 1867 in Lansing, Michigan. He was the son of Andrew and Anna (Lyons) Craw. He stood five foot six inches tall and had a medium complexion.

MILITARY RECORD:
Enlisted June 13, 1898 at lansing, Michigan. Assigned to Company "D" of 19th U. S. Infantry. Discharge April 14, 1899 at Porto Rico. Pension awarded on Certificate No. 1288340.

Mr. Craw was single. He entered the Washington Veterans' Home on March 16, 1927. He married Mary Lock September 20, 1928 in Port Orchard.

He was discharged from the Veterans's Home in June 1930, was readmitted in 1932 and died February 2, 1940. He was buried in the Home Cemetery in the Spanish War section.
