Robert L. Barngrover, 74, Topeka, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1999, at a Topeka hospital.

Robert L. BARNGROVER was born on 1 Mar 1925 in Carbondale, Kansas. He died on 26 Sep 1999 in Topeka.
He spent his early life in the Pauline and Berryton communties South of Topeka.
He lived in Topeka for more than 50 years. He owned custon auto trim in Topeka and worked for the Santa Fe Railroad before he retired.
He joined the Navy in 1944 and served in the Atlantic and Pacific during WWII. He was a member of the invasion fleet on D-day, and the invasion of France in June 1944. He was a member of the First Christian Church in recent years and had been a member of Central Park Christian Church for many years.
He was a member of the Northeast Kansas Parkinson's Assoociation and Telephone Pioneer Partners and a
life member of Capital Post No. 1 of the American Legion.
