Elsie Mable Dillin, 77, died Thursday, June 23, 1966 at the Shenk Nursing home in Wellman. She had been a patient there for seven months. Funeral services were held in the Powell Funeral Homes in North English at 2:00 Saturday, June 25, 1966. Rev Jerrold W Swinton of Millersburg, conducted the services. Mrs Lewis J Powell Jr, presided the chapel organ during the services. Burial was maed in St Bernard cemetery at Millersburg. Casketbearers were: Merton Geiger, James Dillin, Charles Berry, Melvin Shaull, Harry Dennis and Donald Wyant.Elsie Mable, daughter of George and Florence Fuller Seaton was born on August 1, 1888 at Millersburg, Iowa, and died on June 23, 1966 at Wellman.She was married to William C Dillin in 1910, and they farmed near North English. Mr Dillin died December 10, 1965. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Lloyd of Glenwood, Iowa, and Robert of North English; three daughters, Florence Meyer of Marengo, Elaine (Mrs Alfred Vandee) and Esther (Mrs Floyd Vandee) both of North English, 19 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Nellie Humphrey of North English, and Sadie Haskins of Marengo. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Leonard; a grandson, Gary Van Dee, and a brother, Alva Seaton.
