Civil War Union Army Soldier. First soldier buried at Arlington Cemetery.
Enlisted in Company G, 67th Regiment of Pennsylvania Volunteers on March 25, 1864. Came down with measles and admitted to Lincoln Hospital in Washington, DC, on May 1, 1864. Died of peritonitis ten days later. (bio by: David McInturff)
