Services will be at 1:30 pm Wednesday at Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary for Cassius A. Barngrover, Sr., 2721 Monroe, who was dead on arrival at a Topeka hospital Sunday. He had cancer.
He was born Dec 8, 1907, at Carbondale. He was a mechanic for Mosby-Mack Motors before he retired.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace Barngrover, at home: three sons, C. A. Barngrover J., 2810 Madison, Clyde Barngrover, 2735 Monroe, and William Barngrover, 911 W. 8th; three daughters, Mrs. Betty Jones, Fullerton, Calif., Mrs. Bertha Weaver, 2737 Madison, and Mrs. Marian Gay, 2326 Harison: Two sisters, Mrs. Nora Smith, 618 Wabash, and Mrs. Artie Thomas, Overbrook; a brother, William Barngrover.
Burial will be in Overbrook Cemetery.
