Ollie Bell Blasingame
HARLINGEN/RIO HONDO, TX. Our loving mother, Ollie Bell Blasingame, 84, was called home to be with the Lord on May 10, 2007.
She was born on August 30, 1922 in Tatum, New Mexico and moved to the Valley when she was 10 years old.
She was married to Claude Blasingame for 56 years and was a long time resident of San Benito, Rio Hondo, and Harlingen.
She was a devoted wife and mother who will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her children, Glenda England (Billy), of Harlingen, Betty Brogren (Lars) of Pharr, Kenneth Blasingame of Rio Hondo, Barbara Humphrey (Steve) of Harlingen, Elaine Garza of Harlingen, Keefe Blasingame (Marsha) of Los Fresnos, Wanda Garcia (Manuel) of Harlingen; 14 wonderful grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother; Robert Earl Cox; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Claude; son, Billy Charles and; brothers, William, Charlie, and Martin Cox.
Visitation will be held Sunday May 13, 2007 at San Benito Funeral Home from 5pm to 9 pm with Prayer Services at 7 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 10 am on Monday May 14, 2007 at San Benito Funeral Chapel A.
Interment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park.
Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of San Benito Funeral Home, 1400 West Hwy 77, San Benito, Texas 78586.
