Acclaimed Composer of many famed operas and operettas during the 1910s, 20s, and 30s. Among them, "The Land of the Misty Waters," "The Robin Woman," "The Sunset Trail," "The Garden of Mystery," "A Witch of Salem," "The Willow Tree," "The Ghost of Lollipop Bay," "Lelawala," "The Belle of Havana," and "South In Sonora." He was a leading 'Indianist' composer in the early part of the 20th century, incorporating Native American themes throughout his music. His 1932 work "The Willow Tree" was the first opera to be composed specifically for radio performance. (bio by: A.J. Marik)
