Betty was preceded in death by her husband, William David Hinchman, who left this life September 3, 2007. They shared 57 devoted wonderful years together. Betty was also preceded by her mother, Essie Jane Langham Walk and her father, Jack Langham. Their lives were blessed by only one child, Catherine. Betty was employed in Houston by Texas Instruments for 18 years; she also worked for Kelsey Seybold Clinic for 8 years before retiring. Betty and Bill and Cathy lived in Rosenberg until 1973, moving back to Houston and later retiring in Sugar Land, Texas, Sweetwater. Betty will be missing her lifestyle of reading, talking and laughing with her friends for hours, cooking wonderful food that only Betty could prepare. While in Rockport she loved sunset boat rides, shopping in town and having dinner with friends and relatives at the Key Allegro Yacht Club. Betty loved to travel to San Antonio with Cathy to visit relatives and friends, shop and dine at her favorite restaurants as well as seeing her favorite hairdresser, Alan, owner of X'Cel Salon. urviving to cherish her memories Betty leaves two loving sisters, Faye Utecht of San Antonio, Janey Thompson of McAllen, Texas and one adoring brother, Larry Lee Langham of Harlingen, Texas as well as so many wonderful friends, a host of relatives and several Godchildren. Betty's family was a large and close one with many nieces, nephews and her beloved Son-in-Law, George S. Eckhardt.
