Battles and Campaigns were Normandy, Northern France, German and Ardennes, Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster, Combat Infantryman Badge, Good Conduct Ribbon, European Theater of Operations Ribbon with four Bronze Campaign Stars. Discharged from Bushnell General Hospital on September 20, 1945.
