Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Springhill Christian Church, with the Rev. J. Gorham Garrison, of Ochlocknee, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with Whiddon's Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Brinson was born in Thomas County on Dec. 3, 1879, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mize, Sr. A lifelong resident, she was very active in the Springhill Christian Church. Mrs. Brinson attended school in Springhill.
Mrs. Brinson had been in failing health for two years. Her husband died April 11, 1940.
Surviving are four sons, C.E. Brinson, of Clearwater, Fla., A.L. Brinson, of Ochlocknee, W.H. Brinson, of Jacksonville, Fla., and John Brinson, of Thomasville; six daughters, Mrs. J.E. Reynolds, of Miami, Fla., Mrs. J.W. Dyes, of Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Douglas Ricks, of Ochlocknee, Mrs. H.L. Russell, of Tampa, Fla., Mrs. W.E. Vanlandingham, and Mrs. Lewis Collins, of Thomasville; 30 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
