Bill was born in Longview, Texas, to the late Billy "Bill" G. and Violet Christine "Chris" Taylor Willians. He graduated from Longview High School in 1971 and was proud to be a member of the Lobo football team and followed them through the years. He also played football at Kilgore College and the University of Tulsa.
He was a graduate of the East Texas Police Academy and served as a peace officer for several years. Bill was retired as a scheduler in oil field services.
Those left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Paula Rogers and husband Tim of Jefferson, TX and Claire Koonce and husband Kevin of White Oak, TX, nephew, Ryan Rogers and wife Rebekah of Longview and niece, Haley Koonce of White Oak.
