David Leroy Koser, sixty-one, Danville R.D.3, died at eleven o'clock yesterday morning in the Bloomsburg Hospital. He had been ill three years.
He was a well known resident of West Hemlock township, Montour County and before becoming ill had been employed by Philco, Watsontown. He was also a farmer.
Born in Union County, February 14, 1901, he was a son of the late Harry and Elizabeth Peterson Koser. His death severed a marital union of forty years. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran church and Washingtonville fire company.
Survivors include his wife the former Eva Welliver; one son, Roland Koser, Danville R.D.3; three brothers, Phares, Washingtonville; Russell, Danville R.D.2; Grayden, Milton; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Bottonstone, West Milton; Miss Mae Koser, Laurelton; Mrs. Larue Rowe, Milton.
Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at two o'clock from the Heffner funeral home, Washingtonville. The Rev. Elwood I Stahl, pastor of Washingtonville Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in New Columbia cemetery.
