David Inman Garner, Sr. 69 died Saturday February 2, 2008. Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home. The Rev. Ralph Story and Rev. Winston Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow iBaldwin Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Garner was a native of Washington County but made his home in Milledgeville for over 60 years. He was a member of the Baldwin County High School first graduating class of 1957. He was a retired Insurance Agent and a Baptist. He was the son of the late Jasper Marvin and Annie Ruth Blizzard Garner.
Survivors include his wife Jeanette Prather Garner of Milledgeville, his son David Inman Garner, Jr. (Donna) of Milledgeville, a brother Hugh Garner (Rita) of Dublin two grandchildren; David Harrell Garner (fiancée Chelsea Minter) of Milledgeville, Kyle Inman Garner (Andria) of Okinawa, Japan, two step-grandchildren; Mindi Blizzard and Eric Blizzard both of Milledgeville, one great grandchild Lillian Dawn Garner.
