Mr. Charvat passed away at the age of 90, and resided in St. Clair Shores. He was the cherished husband of the late Jane. Devoted father of two daughters and two sons. Dear grandfather of four granddaughters and a grandson, and of two great granddaughters. He had a floral business for 65 years, that was originally founded by his grandfather. He worked until a few months ago. He was in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He then earned a BS degree from MSU in Horticulture. He loved boating and with the family had been all over the Great Lakes. He enjoyed the Detroit Tigers. His Funeral Service was held at the Grosse Pointe Congregational Church.
