Mrs. (Joseph) Carrie Wulff
1886 – 1968

Mrs. Carrie Wulff, 81, Mondovi, died Thursday morning Jan. 11 at Buffalo Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient for two weeks.
She was born March 20, 1886, in Thompson Valley to Soren Odegard and Kari Flikki Odegard. She was married to Joseph I. Wulff, a Mondovi blacksmith, in 1905. To this union three children were born – Kenneth, who passed away May 20, 1944, Martin and Eleonore (Mrs. Myron Eide) of rural Mondovi. Her husband passed away on December 26, 1962.
Carrie was a charter member of the Norwegian Lutheran Ladies Aid, which is now known as Central Lutheran Church Women.
Besides her son and daughter she is survived by 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Elvin and Adolph, Mondovi, and one sister, Christina Johnson of Riverside, California.
A Family Prayer Service was held at the Kjentvet Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 14. Funeral services were at Central Lutheran Church on Monday afternoon Jan. 15 at 1:30. Pastor Harold Haugland officiating.
Mrs. Richard Weiss was the organist, and Roger Leonard of Brill, Wisconsin was the soloist. He sane "What a Friend We Have In Jesus" and "I Know of a Sleep in Jesus Name."
Casket bearers were Sanford Wulff of Edgerton, Wis., Kenneth Wulff, Mondovi, Joseph Eide of Chippewa Falls, Joseph Wulff of Eau Claire, Maurice Eide of Waunoke, Wis., and Robert Wulff of Mondovi. Interment was t Riverside Cemetery.
