C. Morris Richter, 92, of Elizabethville, died Tuesday at the Kepler Convalescent Home, Elizabethville.
He retired as proprietor of the Washington House House Hotel, Elizabethville. He was a member of the Reliance Hose Co., a director of the Upper Dauphin National Bank, a former member of Elizabethville Borough Council, former director of the Elizabethville Water Co., and former director of the Maple Grove Cemetery Association. He was a member of the Salem Luthern Church, Elizabethville.
He is survived by a son, Dr. Carl M. Richter, Orland, Calif.: two daughters, Mrs. Fred Esterline, Elizabethville, and Mrs. Horace Schwartz, Jonestown; three brothers O. G. Richter, Dunedine, Fla., George Richter, Marshalltown, Iowa, and Herman Richter, Millersburg; three sisters, Mrsd.d Gertrude Travis, Philadelphia, Miss Herta Richter and Miss Anne Richter, both of Mechaniksburg; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Sagturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home at 103 W. Main St., Elizabethville, with the Rev. David R. Hauck, his pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
