Misha is a free and awesome little spirit, warm and affectionate and soft. We adopted her from the local ferret rescue and shelter and she quickly became one of the family. She died of a cancer that is agonizingly common in ferrets due to the irresponsible breeding practices of Marshall Farms, largest American breeder of ferrets. This is also a huge reason for the numbers of fuzzy souls in Shelters. See you when my Bridge time comes, Darling.

"We who choose to surround ourselves with lives even more temporary than our own live within a fragile circle , easily and often breached. Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way. We cherish memory as the only certain immortality, never fully understanding the necessary plan..."
from the book, Separate Lifetimes "The Once and Again Prince" by Irving Townsend.
