JOSEPH LOGAN CLARK Indian River Colony Club in Melbourne, FL formerly from Fort Walton Beach, FL. He was the 6th of 12 children born to Robert Henry Clark and Suda Elizebeth Bowman Clark, graduated from Gainesville, GA High, attended Rabun Gap Junior College. He was a 30 year, U.S. Army Air Force veteran serving in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Following WWII, he returned to college and earned a BS Degree in Vocational Agriculture from the University of Georgia and taught Vocational Education in the Veteran's Farm Training Program at Norcross, GA, earned his Masters in Education from Northwestern State University in LA and was recalled to service in 1951. He retired as Director of Command and Control for the Eighth Air Force. Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Norell; children Peggy Jo Clark Pence and Roger William Clark; grandchildren, Sean Michael Pence, Shannon Michelle Pence, Joseph Roger Clark and James Logan Clark; great-grandchildren, Logan Sean Pence, Deven Julia Pence, and Tyler John Pence and siblings, Mary Louise Clark, Amos Rainie Clark and Mildred Ruth Clark Dougherty. A funeral service, officiated by Chaplain Kenneth Cocker, will be held on November 24, 2012 at the Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Melbourne, FL.
