She received her schooling at Lonedell and grew to young womanhood there.
July 6, 1913 she was united in marriage to Mr. Arley Smith. They made their home at Lonedell until 1932, when they moved to Union to make their home. Three children were born to this marriage.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arley in 1963 and by a daughter Minnie Biles in 1970.
Those who survive are; one daughter Clara Littrell and one son Simmie Smith, both of Union; five grandchildren; Virgil Littrell of Gerald and Eugene and George Littrell both of Union; Lola Bay of Union and Rev. Bill Ogden of Van Buren, Mo.; nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; one step sister, Mrs Viola Nevills of St Clair; two step-brothers, William Nevills of St Clair and Nicholas Nevills of Union, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Thursday, February 9, 1984, from the Oltmann Funeral Home in Union by Rev Ed Purcell. Interment followed in the Prospect Cemetery at Lonedell, Mo.
