Neva M. Burnaman, passed away in Canon City, Colo. on Aug. 29, 2006. The wife of Murray E. Burnaman, who passed away on Jan. 24, 1985. Mother of Murray E. (Sandy) Burnaman II of Ocotillo Wells, Calif., and Ilona (Stephen) Millison of Pueblo West, Colo. Grandmother of Renee Millison of Madison, Miss., and Shelley Martin of Pueblo West, Colo. Neva is also survived by her sisters, Nona Clemons of Vista, Calif., Nova (Leo) Hudson of Canon City, Colo., Neta Jaynes and Nola Jackson, both of Pueblo, Colo.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ada Hart; her oldest sister, Nina Behrendsen; and her only brother, Charles E. Hart. Neva was raised in Pueblo and graduated from Central High School with the class of 1941. She was married and raised her family in Fallbrook, Calif., and later retired to Montello, Nev., and Borrego Springs, Calif., until her return, two years ago, to Canon City, to reside in the Fremont Assisted Home Care. At her request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
