Martha Willenbring was born Sept. 28, 1913, in Richmond, Minn. She was a welder in the shipyards during World War II and owned several restaurants in Portland, including Lydia's and the Monte Cristo. She later was a nurse's aide at Oak Villa nursing home in Hillsboro. In 1950, she married Arthur; he died in 1971.
Survivors include her daughter, RoseAnn Volk; sister, Ida Miller; 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Martha Was married to George Thomas David Bergstrom whom she had five children with, George David, Jr, Carol, Virginia, Marilyn and RoseAnn.
She Married Wilbur Richard Miley.
She was then married to James Silbernagel.
and then to Arthur George Herman.
