PVT Noble Perrin enlisted in Company A, 72 Ohio Volunteer Infantry on November 18, 1862 in Mansfield, Ohio. He was captured at the Battle of Guntown on June 11, 1864 and died while a Prisoner of War at Andersonville Prison.
