Dorothy L. Roberts, 78, died July 2, 2006, at Hutchinson Hospital.
She was born Nov. 3, 1927, in Hutchinson, the daughter of Thomas Jefferson and Ethel Margaret Thom-as Lawrence. She was a 1944 graduate of Hutchinson High School. A longtime resident of Hutchinson, she was a homemaker and was a production supervisor for Western Foods, retiring in 1979, after 13 years of service.
She belonged to Mothers of Twins, Double Trouble Club, Hutchinson, and the Kansas organization, Mothers of Twins.
On Feb. 14, 1948, she married Harold E. "Toby" Roberts in South Hutchinson. He survives.
Other survivors include: their children, Ronnie Roberts, Winfield, Carolyn Price, Janet Benson, Jeff Roberts and Annette Vedder, all of Hutchinson; a sister, Katherine Mayes, Hutchinson; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery and Mausoleum, Hutchinson, with Pastor Gary Salmans presiding. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, 1219 North Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
