1804 - Feb 3, Montgomery County, Va. - Danel Brown witnessed with John Grant and James Caldwell, land sold by Ralph and Elizabeth Bogel of Wythe Co., Va. to Edward Morgan - 80 acres. Here Danel appears to be Dance Brown with his father-in-law, John Grant and his brother-in-law, James Caldwell who married Rahab Brown.

1815-May, Sumner Co court minutes page 20--on motion ordered that Hardy Caldwell be appointed administrator of all and singular the goods and chattles rights of James Caldwell, decd and thereupon the said Hardy Caldwell took the oath of an administrator as proscribed by law and together Robert McClary and Henry Butler his securities entered into and acknowledged their bond to the Governor in the penalty of five hundred dollars ______ as the law directs.

1825-Aug p. 16 of Sumner Co deed books. Deed of bargain and sale from John Foster to Rahab Caldwell for thirty seven acres of land was duly proved in open court by the oath of Jonathan Davis & Yancy Turner subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to be registered.
1827-May 2, son John died.
1827-June 18, Rahab Caldwell mentioned in Simpson Co., Ky. Jesse Skeen enters in Surveyor office for Simpson Co., Ky. 130 acres of land lying in Sumner County, Tn. South of Walkers line bordering 20 acres of Rahab Caldwell's line. (#8)

Deaths: John Caldwell departed this life May the 2nd, 1827. James Caldwell departed this file Jan. the 15th, 1836. Rahab Caldwell departed this life the 8th of June, 1850.
