Loren W. (Pat) Pargen, 89, of Kansas City, MO, passed away August 19, 2010. Pat was born in Parsons, KS, February 17, 1921, son of Leo Francis and Eva Maude (Smith) Pargen. He moved to Kansas City at the age of 14 and lived in Kansas City, MO the rest of his life. He was married August 28, 1942 to Geraldine Heckman, they were married 67 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine on May 20, 2010 and a son, Richard Pargen. Pat served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a charter member of Faith Presbyterian Church. He worked 30 years for U.S. Postal Service. He is survived by two children, nine grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. Graveside service and inurnment will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 25, at Mt. Moriah Cemetery South, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO.
