Noel graduated from El Dorado High School and received his B.S. in machine science from LeTourneau College. He began his career with Eastman Kodak in 1951 and retired in 1986 from Texas Eastman Co. as polypropylene division maintenance engineer. Noel was a member of the Hallsville First Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather who liked bird hunting, training Arabian horses and playing basketball.
