Daughter of George Myron & Frances Montney Gotham. She married Franklin J. Parrott on 20 April 1887 in Evergreen Township, Sanilac County, Michigan. Together they had Lloyd , Roy, Almeta, William & Frank. She died at a young age from Tuberculosis. When Effie died Franklin then married her sister Irene B: 1883 together they had George, Oleta, Leola (who married George Carpenter) Agnes ( who married Jay Passmore) , Ellen, Robert & Leonard. Frank & Irene also raised their grandson Wayne son of Oleta.
