|Death: ||Jan. 31, 1915|
Died when the sand cave he was digging with friend Peeler caved in. They had been digging with their brothers, who left, and when returning, found the cave collapsed, and assumed the smaller boys had left their play. One of the older boys began digging for his lost bucket and James Peeler's brother came across his brother instead.
