Harry M. O'Daniel passed away on February 3, 2016 at the Fresno VA Hospice Hospital at the age of 72 years. He was born on May 10, 1943 in Laton, CA, to Marie and Eulen Cleo O'Daniel. Harry attended Pioneer School and graduated in 1962 from Hanford High School. He honorably served in the U.S. Army as a Radio Relay Operator.
Harry is survived by brothers, Doug (LaVerne) and Jerry (Helen) O'Daniel; sisters, Anita Rapozo and Arlene O'Daniel; and sister-in-laws, Diane and Bonnie O'Daniel. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his parents; companion, Kathy Journayj and brothers, Buford and John.
At Harry's request, no local services will be held. However, he will be buried with military honors at 1:15 p.m. on Friday, February 12, 2016 at the Bakersfield National Cemetery, 30338 E. Bear Mountain Blvd., Arvin, CA 93203
As both Harry and Kathy loved dogs and cats, donations may be made to the SPCA or to an organization of your choice.
