Earl A. Hahn, 76, of Lincoln Ave., died at 6:30 a.m. today in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning, after three weeks illness.
Mr. Hahn retired from Castle Rubber Co. with 42 years service. He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.
Born Jan. 17, 1911, in Butler, he was the son of Herman and Teresa Kaib Hahn.
Surviving are his wife, Anna L. Stepp Hahn, whom he married June 14, 1935; six daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Doris) Smith of Saxonburg, Mrs. Gerald (Janet) Hoffman of Kennerdell, Mrs. Donald (Diane) Goehring of Butler, Rose Boring in Texas, and Mrs. Robert (Becky) Crawford and Mrs. Harvey (Patricia) Daum, both of Butler; two sons, Earl A. Hahn Jr. of Butler and Richard L. of Chicora; 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Burton (Mildred) Campbell of Chicora, Mrs. William (Agnes) Burns of Butler and Mrs. Alice Schwarz of Cabot; a brother H. Leroy Hahn of Cabot; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A brother and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends of Earl A. Hahn, who died Friday, Aug. 7, 1987, will be received Saturday and Sunday. Funeral services will be held Monday with burial in Butler County Memorial Park.
