Interment will follow in NW LA Veterans Cemetery in Keithville, LA. Visitation with the family will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the funeral home.

Leo was born on February 11, 1929 in Meridian MS and passed away on January 2, 2011 in Shreveport. He married Bobbie June Smith on April 7, 1951 and soon after they made their home in Shreveport for 59 years. Leo was hard working, fun loving, and a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a joy to be around and always put a smile on your face. He proudly served his country for 3 years in the US Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Lula Mae Snider and stepfather, John Snider. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie June Smith Deason; sons, Kenneth Deason, Larry Deason and wife, Judy, Michael Deason, Richard Deason, Randall Deason and wife, Jennifer, Russell Deason, David Deason and wife, Amanda; daughters, Bobbie Deason and husband, Lonnie, Deborah Deason, Brenda Remedies and husband, Andrew, Beverly Huffer and husband, Cliff, Sharon Teague and husband Bryan; 21 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bobby E. Deason and Louise Reynolds.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, John Deason, Justin Huffer, Jonathan Huffer, Josh Teague and Paul Remedies; sons-in-law, Cliff Huffer, Andrew Remedies and Bryan Teague.
