Duane Harris Rites Monday.

Duane Harris, 46, 2723 18th Ave. N., died early Friday morning at Bethesda General Hospital following a long illness. Services will be Monday a 1:30 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Stanley G. Ecklund, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at Gunderson-Sellergren Memorial Chapel after 2 p.m. Saturday.
Surviving are the widow, Doris; sons: Larry, Clarksville; Jeff and Roger, both of Fort Dodge; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Caryl Harris, Fort Dodge; brothers; Roger and Bruce, both of Fort Dodge. Mr. Harris was born in Fort Dodge and attended school here. He served in the U. S. Air Force from 1944 to 1946. Following his discharge he had been a watchmaker with H. C. Kirkberg Jewelers for the past 26 years. He married the former Doris Florea in 1949 in Fort Dodge, and the couple made their home here. He was a member of the American Legion, Watchmaker's Guild, was active in the Boy Scouts and served as scoutmaster.
