Funeral services for Thomas R. Racicot, 85, of Killeen, will be at 10 AM Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. The family will receive visitors on Thursday at 6 PM at the Harper-Talasek Funeral Home with the Rosary being at 7 PM.
Tom passed away October 22, 2007 at his home. He was born in Bennington, VT., where he met and married his wife Ida Walker. They were married for 58 years until her death in 2003.
Tom was a veteran and served his country in 3 wars, earning a Bronze star and Purple Heart. He was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by 4 sons; Philip Racicot and Wife Kathleen of Killeen, TX; Mark Racicot of Longview, TX; Paul Racicot and wife Cathy of Killeen, TX; Peter Racicot of Dallas, TX.
He is also survived by 1 brother and 5 sisters; 12 Grandchildren and numerous Great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Ida, 4 brothers; 3 sisters and 1 grandchild. We will miss you Thomas R., Goodnight and God Bless!
