Ralph S. Brandenborg, 56, residing on Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend, Ind., passed away on Saturday morning, Nov. 5, in his residence.
He was born on Dec. 13, 1943 in Chicago, Ill., to Svend T. Brandenborg and Eve (Fite) Frederick, and lived in this community most of his life. He was preceded in death by his father.
Mr. Brandenborg was a self-employed real estate broker owning several investment properties. Ralph served in the U. S. Army as a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne from 1962 to 1965. He was a member of American Legion Post #303, South Bend.
He is survived by his mother, Eve Frederick of South Bend; a daughter, Amy Brandenborg of Seminole Fla.; and by two sons, James Brandenborg of San Diego, Calif., and Steve Brandenborg of Seminole.
Funeral services for Ralph Brandenborg will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, in the Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Avenue, South Bend. Rev. Ed Erskin will officiate. Graveside services and burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox, Ind.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10, in the Palmer Funeral Home.
