| Birth: | Mar. 18, 1826 Appling County Georgia, USA | | Death: | Dec. 21, 1889 |  Berrien Lewis Hall was born March 18,1826, in Appling County, son of Instance Hall (Vol. IV). He was married Dec. 29, 1844, to Maria Johnson, born July 24, 1824, daughter of Malcolm Johnson (Vol IV). They had seven children, Mr. Hall enlisted April 27,1862, at Waynesville, Co. "A", 4th Georgia Calvary Regiment, C.S.A., later transferring to Co. "K". He was discharged August, 1863, by order of the Confederated Secretary of War on account of being a county officer. He served as Clerk of Appling Superior Court, 1862-64, and as Justice of Peace, 457th district,1864-1868. He died Dec. 21, 1889. His wife died April 30, 1886.
