Norma Hoosier Grimes, 57, of Lufkin died Oct. 3, 2001, in Lufkin.
A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Perkins Cemetery in DeQuincy, La., under the direction of Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy. Visitation was Friday at the funeral home.
A native and former longtime resident of DeQuincy, she lived in Lufkin 15 years and was an Oakwood Manor dietary supervisor in Vidor.
Survivors include her father and stepmother, Ocie and Joyce Hoosier of Buna; son, Saint Stivender of Bon Wier; daughters, Lena Harris of Diboll, Jeanette Clark of Lufkin and Celeste Simmons of Mount Arlington, N.J.; brother, Odis Hoosier of Vidor; half-brothers, Dolvin Simmons of Vidor, Benjamin Simmons and Loyd Simmons, both of DeQuincy, and Leroy Simmons of Nashville, Tenn.; and eight grandchildren
