Mr. Ralph H. Forbes of Hot Springs, Arkansas, died Friday, February 5, 2010. He was 81 years, 8 months, and 1 day old. Mr. Forbes was the son of the late George Harvey and Belle (Davis)Forbes.
He was a United States MARINE CORPS veteran of World War II(based in North China[1st Marine 1st Div Headquarters Bat.]. Mr. Forbes was also of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Forbes was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife of 45 years: Ida Vernice (Luker)Forbes.
He is survived by two sons: Ralph Daniel Forbes and his wife: Liz and David Leroy Forbes and his wife: Virginia; a daughter: Maxine Bernice Forbes; 11 grandchildren; some great-grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 10, 2010, at Leola Cemetery in Leola, Arkansas.
