COOKEVILLE Funeral services for Mary Estelle Arnett, 81, of Cookeville, will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 12, from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Arnett died on Friday, Nov. 8, 2002, in McLeod Hospital in Florence, S.C.
She was born on Jan. 2, 1921, in Baltimore, Md., to the late Alfred George and Margaret Bouldin Savard.
Mrs. Arnett was retired from Tennessee Tech University and was a member of Cookeville First United Methodist Church.
Her family includes a son and daughterinlaw, Jim and Wanda Arnett of Florence; three daughters and two sonsinlaw,
Joanne and Philip Tutschek of Mountain Lakes, N.J., Mary and Andrew Masson of Troy, Mich., and Peggy Barrett of Fayetteville, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and one greatgrandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Arnett; and a brother, George Savard.
