OBITUARY.
Ananias Eustler was born April 7th, 1842 in Shenandoah Valley, Rockingham County, Virginia and died Jan. 25th, 1916, aged 73 years, 9 months, 18 days.
He came with his parents to Iowa in 1858.
In 1861 he joined Capt. John W. Anderson's Company A, 11th Iowa Regiment of Infantry, giving 3 years of faithful service.
He was united in marriage to Doris Wright, Jan 1st, 1865, to them were born seven children, all surviving with the exception of one son Charles, who died Dec. 3rd, 1884. Those living are Frank of Washington, William and Vernon of Atalissa, Iona Meyers of Tipton and Roy and Mrs. Blair who live at home. Besides these there are ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Mr. Eustlers' last illness was LaGrippe and Pneumonia.
After Mrs. Eustler's death it was his wish and prayer that he too might be permitted to go.
