Thomas "Tommy" McBeth, 51, formerly of 433 N. Weller St., died at 7:45 a.m. Dec. 21, 2009, at Ridgewood Nursing and Rehab Center.He was born Nov. 19, 1958, in Ottumwa to Archie and Patricia McCombs McBeth.He had been employed at Tenco. Tommy loved watching football, NASCAR, shopping and pepperoni pizza.Surviving are five sisters, Peggy (Joe) Walker of Hedrick, Connie (Bill) Ward of Fremont, Carolyn (Jerry) Ekwall of Cedar Rapids, Shirley (Ron) Besco of Eddyville and Nita (Mike) Berger of Franklin, N.C.; numerous nieces and nephews and his family at Crest Home.He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Patricia Ann McBeth.Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Reece Funeral Home with Rev. James H. Wakelin officiating. Burial will be in Helms Cemetery near Fremont.Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday. The family will be present one hour prior to the service Wednesday.Memorials may be made to Crest Services or Tenco.
