Mary Olivia Mathews passed away on July 9, 2005 at Christus St. Joseph Villa.

She was born on March 16, 1928 in Lander, WY. She lived in various towns in Nevada, Wyoming, and Idaho. She eloped to Ely, NV with her sweetheart, pal, and partner Donald on Jan. 16, 1948; they were later sealed for all eternity April 11, 1958.

She retired from Beehive Clothing in 1990. She was also a loyal employee of Albertson's, JC Penney's, Dec's, and the U of U Huddle. She was a dedicated servant of her Heavenly Father in numerous positions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her smile and contagious conversation will always be in our hearts. She now joins her parents, two brothers and one sister, and will be holding her baby Craig for the first time.

She is leaving behind her loving husband, Donald; her children, John (Carolyn) of Taylorsville, Don (Linda) of South Jordan, Duane of Taylorsville, Greg (Melanie) of Henderson, NV, Mary Jane of West Valley City; twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother; and six sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2005 in the Copperhill Fourth Ward Chapel, 4333 South 6400 West, with a viewing from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friends and family may call on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Memorial Estates Mortuary, 5850 South 900 East.
Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
