Family tree sources show he was the son of George W. Foglesong and Mary Ann Cromer (Death cert shows Baker), born in Hopewell, Seneca Co., OH. He married Sarah Jane Robinso on July 19, 1868 in Isabella Twp., Isabella Co., MI and they were the parents of Fred, Rosetta E. and Archie Foglesong.
He married Mahala Elizabeth Robinson (sister of Sarah Jane) about 1874 and they were the parents of Mary R. and Pearl Foglesong. (See 1900 census records under Elizabeth Foglesong memorial page)

Informant Elizabeth Fogelsong of St. Louis, MI. Burial November 2, 1904 St. Louis, MI.
