Jean Cline, 80, of 134 S. Cooper Ave., died Nov. 24, 2010, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
She was born Nov. 5, 1930, in Rose Hill to Howard and Eva Stufflebeam Taylor. She married John E. Cline Sr.on Oct. 2, 1949. He preceded her in death March 2, 1993.
A graduate of Ottumwa High School, she had worked for the American Home Finding Association and Holiday Inn in Ottumwa.
Surviving are a son, Kelly(Debbie Terrell)Cline of Ottumwa; a daughter, Yvonne Cheri Cogdill of Topeka, Kan.; 10 grandchildren, Duane and Dave Terrell, Chad, Josh and Shane Welliver, Chloe Fowler, Jonathan Cline III, Veronica Shelton, Patsy Vos and Dusty Jean Cline; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jeaninne(Tom)Shipley of Floris.
She was preceded in death by a son, John E. Cline Jr., and a brother, Wallace Taylor.
Funeral services will be 1pm Monday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Shipley of Batavia Baptist Church officiating.
Cremation will follow the service.
Visitation will be oopen after 10am Sunday at the funeral home with the family present from 2-4pm Sunday.
Cremated, Location of ashes is unknown.
