He loved spending time outdoors, whether that was doing carpentry jobs with his father and brother-in-laws, or barbecuing up some chicken on the grill.

He collected knives and had several of all sizes and shapes. He would spend time working on his pulling tractor and even competed a few times at the local fairs. He didn't expect to win it was more for the enjoyment of being with friends. Jeff's family was what meant most to him. He truly loved his wife and two sons and was happiest spending time with them. He and his son, Mathew shared a love for collecting old model cars, it was something that Jeff had started even before Matt was born. They spent time together searching for that certain one that they needed to add to the collection. His son Jeffery, and him had a passion for wrestliing. He always treasured the time Jeffery traveled to see him and spent the summer. They had many memorable moments that Jeff frequently talked about. He was proud to be southern born and would often remind people that he was a southern boy thru and thru. He liked his southern rock music and a good shot of Wild Turkey.
