JOHN EDWIN HAMMOND,passed away Feb.22, 1991 after a long
fight with melanoma cancer.Ed was a very loving and kind
man.Surviving is his wife Janice and their daughter Julie.
Ed and Janice waited until they were in their thirtys to
marry and start a family. They put everything they had into their beautiful daughter Julie, she was the apple of
his eye.Ed and Janice were like parents to me,they were
always there for me.Ed would even go with me to the doctor after my husband died.Janice is my daddy's only sister,
she had always been on my side, she tried to get me out
of foster care to no avail.Ed and Janice were a very happy
couple, very rarely did you see one and not the other.
Ed was an avid reader and coffee drinker,he always had a
book in his hand and a cup of coffee with the teaspoon in it.He would sit at the table and read and stir and stir
and read.He worked for the phone co.for years. There is so much more to say about my uncle Ed,I will write more later.
