He died at about age 44
He came over from Scotland alone
with his Scottish name of Cavanaugh
(or Kavanaugh) at about 14 years of age.
A kind man, Capt. Hugh McLellan "adopted" him.
He married SARAH NOV 12, 1857
Edgar drowned at sea, and
his body was never recovered.
Edgar was the SEA CAPTAIN of a ship,
a "MERCHANT MARINE".
His ship sunk in a large storm in the Atlantic.
Edgar WENT down with his ship.
"And the sea gave up the dead which were in it..." Revelation 20:13
Unfortunately Captain Edgar McLellan
has no grave stone on land.
No Where to Remember Him, except
here on findagrave.
