Anna was the daughter of Benjamin and Ruth Longacre, the first Longacre's to enter into Missouri. Ben and Ruth moved to Bluff Springs, north of present day Kingsville, in 1827.
Anna married Wellcome Howell on August 10, 1817 in Roane Co., Tennessee. Wellcome died in 1841 in McMinn Co., Tennessee.
Anna was living with her son, Benjamin Franklin Howell at the time of her death.
Anna's grandson, Weck, Thomas McPherson was a Judge in Northern California and came to a colorful end.
