MERCED, Sept 16 – James A. McCurry, 50, section foreman for the Yosemite Valley Railroad Company, died at this home in Briceburg yesterday morning from a heart attack.
He was a native of Missouri and had lived in California seven years. He had been employed by the railroad for six years.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Addie McCurry, a son Charles, and a daughter, Mrs. Cleo Carlson, all of Briceburg; three brothers, S. L. McCurry, Tom and Ernest McCurry, of McFarlane; two sisters, Mrs. May Williams of Oklahoma, and Mrs. Genevieve Reed of McFarlane.
Funeral services will be announced by Ivers & Alcorn Funeral Home.
